As Chief Financial Officer of Solaris Health, Michele Haas is responsible for the financial strategy and integrity of Solaris Health, and will provide leadership, direction, and administration of all financial aspects related to mergers and acquisitions. This includes strategic financial and business planning, financial analysis and reporting, financial controls, business analytics, financial integration, the budgeting process, accounting, audit, treasury, and analytical support to ensure the business is able to execute its short- and long-range business plans.

Haas has over 30 years of experience in finance and operations, with extensive focus in private equity-backed growth companies, publicly-traded companies, as well as Big 4 Public Accounting. She has been successful in developing and implementing strategic and operational initiatives that improve profitability and provide organizational impact.

Most recently she served as the chief financial officer and chief administrative officer for Sage Dental Management, which owns and operates 60 general and multi-specialty dental practices in Florida and Georgia. Prior to joining Sage Dental Management, she was chief financial officer with chief administrative responsibilities for Altegra Health, where she was an integral part in growing the company, which ultimately resulted in its sale. She also served as chief financial officer of the Integrated Home Care Division at Univita Health® as well as holding senior leadership roles at CIGNA® Corp., including chief financial officer and chief of staff for CIGNA Dental and Vision Care, chief risk officer for CIGNA Group & Specialty Companies, and chief productivity officer for CIGNA Group, Dental and Vision Care. Before joining CIGNA, she served as chief financial officer for Oral Health Services and was a business assurance manager for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Haas earned a B.A. in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is a certified public accountant. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). She has also served on the boards of Women’s Executive Leadership, Junior Achievement of south Florida, and Healthcare Financial Management.
