Mitch Long is the Chief Executive Officer for Spokane Urology. Long is responsible for all operations including quality and fiscal oversight of the practice. With over 30 years of healthcare experience, he has a well-rounded background. Long started his career as a registered nurse and became dual degreed to venture into administrative roles.

Before joining Spokane Urology in 2022 he spent 25 years as Director of Operations for the world’s largest Dialysis provider, working in Portland Oregon, Western Washington, Alaska, and Spokane WA. After leaving Dialysis he was CEO for 5 years for an OBGYN company in Spokane.

Currently at Spokane Urology Long works with 20 providers and has oversight for 100 employees. His responsibilities include staff leadership and development, fiscal health of the organization, quality metrics, physician recruitment and most recently, oversight of a new Ambulatory Surgery Center. He credits his enduring career to the ability to develop and mentor strong leadership to work closely with him to meet the challenges facing healthcare companies today.

In his free time, he loves playing guitar, being outdoors with his wife and traveling.
