As Vice President, Human Resources, Joan is responsible for all aspects of human resource management and industrial relations, including human capital management, strategic planning, compensation and benefits, compliance, talent acquisition, employee engagement, human resources information and payroll and organizational development for Solaris Health.

Bertucci brings a wealth of experience across multiple human resource disciplines. She partners with Solaris Health leadership to ensure incoming team members complement and support the strategic direction of the organization.

Prior to joining Solaris Health, Joan served as the Manager of Human Resources for Specialty Physicians of Illinois/Franciscan Health and Director of Human Resources for Peace Village. She developed an HR team to ensure a culture of distinction, performance excellence, and strategic vision. Her leadership resulted in a notable increase in employee engagement and staff retention.

Throughout her career, Bertucci has bridged HR with Operations at organizations in the Greater Chicago area to develop dynamic and goal-driven teams. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity Christian College and her Master of Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois. She is a Society of Human Resources Senior Certified Professional.
