Nicole Brach

Chief Operating Officer, Michigan Institute of Urology

Nicole Brach is the Chief Operating Officer of Michigan Institute of Urology.  She is responsible for the operations of the clinical and administrative areas of the practice. With over 30 years of health care experience, Brach is significantly involved in strategic planning, as well as leadership and staff development. As a registered nurse, as well as holding a Master’s in Health Care Administration, Brach adds value to the clinical and business components of the practice.

Prior to joining MIU, Brach spent 11 years at a large metro Detroit health care system, Ascension Health, as the Director of Clinical Case Management and Utilization Review, serving as co-chair on the Quality Assurance committee. She earned her Six Sigma green belt and lead several hospital wide process improvement initiatives throughout the health system including ER throughput, MRI scheduling efficiencies and improved admission processes etc. Brach also worked for the health system’s Managed Care division and Revenue Cycle Management division as a care management specialist.  During that time, she also was teaching Managed Care courses at a local community college.
