As Director of Coding Compliance, Lisa Johnson is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of coding practices within the Solaris Health platform. This role ensures that coding operations align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and payer policies, while minimizing the risk of underpayments and overpayments, audits, penalties, and non-compliance.

Previously, Johnson provided healthcare consulting services specializing in Evaluation & Management, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, General Surgery, OBGYN, Telehealth, Urgent Care, and Urology.  The majority of Johnson’s career was spent with Tenet Healthcare/Conifer, where she was the Director of Coding Compliance, responsible for the annual compliance risk-based auditing and monitoring plan.

Johnson has a Masters of Legal Studies from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelors of Science in Human Resources from Faulkner University. She also holds certifications in coding including Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Coding Instructor (CPC-I), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), and she is also Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).
