Saemica Wilkins serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Associated Urologists of North Carolina (AUNC), leading practice operations since 2021. Wilkins is a seasoned leader with nearly 25 years of experience in healthcare operations, human resource management, and a wealth of knowledge in risk management. She has experience in relationship building, recognizing opportunities to enter emerging markets, and professional workflow development. She has successfully improved efficiencies and established key operating indicators to minimize workflow lags.

Prior to joining AUNC, Wilkins worked with Duke’s Health System as a Healthcare Administrator for five years. During that time, she was instrumental in growing revenue, adding new ancillaries, and centralizing services. Wilkins is a visionary driven by a goal of transforming organizations and communities through leadership.

She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Barton College. She loves spending her spare time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her greatest accomplishment will always be her family with her happy place being anything outdoorsy and trail rides.
