Chief Executive Officer, Michigan Market
As CEO, Thomas Lanni leads all business strategy for the Affiliates in Michigan, including growing market share and identifying and implementing operational synergies within the market.
Lanni is the past president of Corewell Health’s Beaumont Troy Hospital. In this role, he was responsible for strategy development, daily operations, and financial performance of the 530-bed Troy campus, including its ambulatory, diagnostic, and surgery centers.
Thomas joined Corewell Health (then Beaumont Health), in 2007 as business manager for the radiation oncology department. He was promoted in 2010 to administrative director and in 2012 to vice president of oncology, medicine, imaging, physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as respiratory therapy at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital. In 2018, he served as chief operating officer of Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital, providing oversight of the day-to-day operations of the 632-bed teaching and research hospital. In 2022, Lanni served as president of Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital until 2023.
Lanni serves on the board of governors for the American College of the Healthcare Executives. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Walsh College.
