As President of Solaris Health, Dr. Kirsh works in the areas of strategic direction and business development for the platform. He also serves as Market President for the Greater Cincinnati region.

Since 2009, Dr. Kirsh has been the president of The Urology Group in Cincinnati, one of the largest groups of urologists in the United States. With 37 physicians, The Urology Group is a recognized community resource for specialized care of urinary tract disease in the Greater Cincinnati region. In his role as president of The Urology Group, he oversees all operations, with an intense focus on implementing the latest technology to treat urologic conditions. Under his leadership, Dr. Kirsh has created a center of excellence in the Midwest for treating prostate cancer.

Dr. Kirsh is active in health policy and advocacy for the specialty of urology at the national level. He is a founder and past president of the Large Urology Group Practice Association (LUGPA) and is a past chairman of UROPAC, the national political action committee of organized urology. He is also a past president of the North Central Section of the American Urological Association and the American Association of Clinical Urologists.

Dr. Kirsh has frequently spoken to urologists across the country on the socioeconomic and political issues facing urology and organized medicine. He has maintained longstanding relationships with various legislators and their staffs and has provided legislative testimony in support of physicians’ issues at both the state and congressional levels.

Dr. Kirsh graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1984. He received his surgical training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and his urology training at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Kirsh is certified by the American Board of Urology and is licensed in the states of Ohio and Indiana.
