Walter Garbarczyk is the Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Urology Associates. He is responsible for all clinical and administrative areas, as well as Strategic Planning and Provider Recruitment.

Prior to coming to AUA, Garbarczyk had 14 years’ experience in medical practice management.  This included being Director of Operations for one of the largest physician divisions at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago.  Earlier experience includes Senior Vice President/ Chief Financial Officer of a large hospital, the American Hospital Association, and consulting/auditing for Ernst & Young.

Garbarczyk holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology (concentration in Finance and Accounting). His Bachelor’s degree is from Bradley University (Biology/pre-med). He has passed the CPA exam in the State of Illinois.

He serves on the Board of Directors of one of the largest Credit Unions in the State of Indiana. Garbarczyk is married with two grown children and three grandchildren.
